Well,  Being my first post, I think it was very successful. I love to play around with the design, but i need to quit that because I can be there forever changing color, fonts etc. I need to post about The Beauty and the beast workshop that finish on May. It was a wonderful and amazing experience. I need to get the photos together.

My most young at heart group ever

It was really a magical and mystical afternoon tea.
I learned so much from my guest whom, by the way, were all seniors , but have children's hearts.

They all came not knowing what we were going to do. I just said " Come, we will have fun". Of course, they were all in time ready to... Paint? Yes, they painted, colored, drew, wrote , etc, etc, etc.
It was an afternoon to reacquaint with their creative selves which all of them said, they forgotten about long time ago, "since we were little girls."

As I started to explain what I had prepared for them, their eyes opened
more and more, not being even able to blink, out of astonishment.
The greatest part is how all of them just follow the few instructions and started to create. They did not hesitate. What great sports, It was a humble lesson for me. How many times when I am  confronted with the unknown, I hesitated. In a few of those occasions , I had  backed up. They are called: "Lost opportunities", lost  opportunities to grow.

Anyway, The afternoon was very productive. We talked about their legacy. How could they live something very meaningful for us, their heirs.
Something that would tell us their essence; that would help us to understand  how they thought; and how they view the world and each one of us. Something that would allowed us to get to know them better and deeper even if they are gone.

That is how they started they own Journals. we did  three exercises: No judgment page, drawing my little girl page, and  The things a like Page. In each exercise they had to use a different technique and or medium. They learned about colors, markers, watercolors, collage, different glues, and  some technique and composition. Their work was awesome and the
y worked very hard the whole afternoon. We even squeezed some time to face paint them, and time for hour English afternoon tea. Here are the participants and some of the examples they created. Truly pieces of art full of meaning and full of information for us: the heirs.
