I have chosen a very talented and thorough artist for this month. Her name is Cecilia Perez Manzaneda and we refer to her as "Tia Chila"(Aunt Chila). She came to the Senior
workshop and did a couple of paintings to start her journal. She loves arts and crafts and has done many artsy projects in Venezuela (South America)
like wedding bouquets, center decorations, etc, but Tia Chila's most amazing and refined trait is her dulce de leche candy sculptures which can take any form shape and size. She has done baby shower decorations, little baby shoes, miniature sail boats, fruit sculptures, mini people, etc. I have been fortunate enough to taste this beautiful delicacies which you are totally hesitant to bite because you don't want to ruin them, but they are Delicious!.Here is the artist and one of her journal pages.
